Beetroot and Brie Tarts

These Beetroot and Brie Tarts are proof that delicious entertaining does not need to be complicated. With crisp mini pastry cases, creamy brie, and a generous spoonful of Wild West Gourmet Sweet Beetroot Relish, they bring together sweet, savoury, creamy, and crisp in one very easy bite. Serve them warm as a quick hors d’oeuvre, add them to a grazing platter, or make them just because they are far too good to save only for special occasions.

Ingredients

24 x pre made mini savoury pastry cases

220gm Ornelle Double Cream Brie

1/2 cup Sweet Beetroot Relish

Sprigs of rosemary

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 110°C


  2. Line the pastry cases up on a lined baking tray


  3. Add a dice sized chunk of brie and a generous teaspoon of Sweet Beetroot Relish, arranging so the cheese still shows


  4. Place the tarts in the preheated oven, and warm until the cheese just starts to melt

  5. Garnish with rosemary and serve!
