Ingredients
500g chuck steak, cubed
1 small onion, diced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 tbsp oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp Worcester sauce
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tsp dried thyme
1 cup beef stock
1/2 cup sour cream
Method
- Heat oil and brown chuck steak, then set aside in a separate bowl
- Add onion and garlic to the pan, and saute until onion is golden
- Return the beef to the pan, along with Worcester Sauce and the rest of the ingredients
- Simmer until the beef is tender. Stir through sour cream, and season with salt and pepper
- Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed veges
